Mimi Gorin, Event Coordinators San Francisco, Gorin Events

Mimi Gorin, President

Talented, dedicated, and versatile, Mimi has produced worldwide events and communications campaigns for over 20 years, for clients including LinkedIn, BMW, MINI USA, Pinterest, Novell, Kawasaki, and many more. She has operated premium events for groups of all sizes, managed corporate hospitality at the Olympics and PGA tournaments, and has directed and written dozens of web and print campaigns. Prior to starting her business, Mimi worked for industry-leading event agencies, most recently overseeing BMW group events and communications for 9 years.

Mimi enjoys close relationships with clients and vendor partners across the globe, and is as comfortable working internationally as she is in the US. She is also fluent in French, which has come in handy on a number of projects. She holds a Masters in French from NYU and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Her recent projects include a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton and IPO roadshows for C level executives.

Karen thinks through every detail to plan each successful event. and wins over clients and vendors alike with her engaging hands-on attitude. Prior to working with Gorin Events. Karen was the Head of Corporate Services at the British Consulate-General in San Francisco, facilitating UK-US client events and engagements.

Brittany is a resourceful and results-oriented with more than 15 years experience in the meetings and events industry. She is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines under pressure. She thrives on executing logistics, developing solutions, and managing support staff.

Tara, Event Manager, East Coast

Tara helps our team with our east coast events, providing planning expertise, event management, and staffing assistance.  An excellent problem solver, Tara also remains marvelously calm in every situation. Based in the New York area, Tara is also the Executive Director of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART).


Erin, Event Manager, East Coast

Erin works with us on our East Coast events and clients, managing on-site operations and staffing. In her events career, she has run operations for a wide variety of programs from conferences to wine and food festivals to national meetings. Erin is savvy, organized and engaging and inspires our teams to bring their full energy and talents to each project.


Allison, Event Registration, East Coast

Allison oversees event logistics and guest registration for our east coast events. Focused and detail-oriented, Allison manages myriad details to ensure a seamless guest experience. She brings her warmth and personal touch to all of her interactions. Allison is also really good with numbers, handling budgets and negotiations to achieve the best financial outcomes for our clients.
